  • O szkoleniu

At each stage of the training a variety of lexical, grammar, reading and listening exercises is implemented to build Trainees’ confidence and foreign language presentation skills. The training aims at gaining and developing practical and measurable competence in preparing and giving effective presentations in English.

Training approaches and methods:

1. Training contents and presentation skills are developed and fostered through communication and task based approach in carefully selected contexts such as: a text, an audio recording, a video recording, role plays, short and long presentations. Active cooperation with the members of the group is a principal factor in achieving the aims of the training.


2. The trainees are involved in practical tasks such as:

  • Preparing and presenting five minute presentations in English individually and in pairs

  • Preparing and presenting ten minute presentations in English individually and in pairs

  • Working in pairs to prepare presentations and lexical exercises

  • Role plays

  • Recording presentations and their analysis in terms of language, structures and signposting

  • Analysis of presentations, grammar and lexical exercises

  • Giving constructive feedback and improving self - assessment skills

  • Implementing trainer’s and group feedback after giving presentations

  • Vocabulary practice - matching collocations, gap filling in sentences, written texts and listening exercises

  • Listening practice - listening to presentations and matching, gap filling, finishing sentences and phrases

  • Fininshing written texts of presentations

  • Ordering paragraphs in written texts of presentations and in listening exercises

  • Using vocabulary, phrases and headlines appropriate for slides and written materials

This course will enable You to present results, proposals, solutions and data more powerfully and effectively.

The trainees will learn to:

1. Understand the expectations of the audience in terms of persuasion, structure, and style

2. Build credibility with audience

3. Handle questions and constructively assess the presentation

4. Give different feedback: styles and language

5. Practise and implement vocabulary and structures used in all three parts of a presentation

6. Develop the language and skills to engage the audience

7. Develop confidence in giving presentations in English - language strategies

8. Bring the audience to remember, understand, believe, and act on what you say

9. Develop skills of correct vocabulary, structures and phrases usage in describing changes, trends, data, products, services and all language functions listed in the contents of the training
